South African Tours - Tour 4.2

DAY 1 – UPINGTON – SPRINGBOK (390 km)
We depart from Guest House at 8:30 via Keimoes, Kakamas to Springbok through the Bushmanland. We stop at Tierberg to enjoy the view over the Orange River, then at the old water wheel, depart to Kakamas, and visit the Pienk Padstal for dried fruit and interesting remembrances.

DAY 2 –  SPRINGBOK
After breakfast, we depart from Springbok to Okiep, Concordia, and Nababiep for the flowers. Then we depart to Goegab National Reserve and Hester Malan Garden. Goegap is 1500ha and supports close to 600 indigenous flower species. We spend the entire day in the flower park and have lunch in the kiosk at own cost.

DAY 3 – SPRINGBOK – HONDEKLIPBAY (380 km)
We depart to Kammieskroon on the N7 and visit Skilpads Nature Reserve. This park is 103000ha and is the showcase of flowers in the season.
From there we depart to Hondeklipbay through the Namaqua National Park on the flower road.

DAY 4 – HONDEKLIPBAY (180 km)
After breakfast we depart to Koingnass on a flower road where we enter the west coast area to the shipwrecks and see how they do rehabilitation on the mining area.

DAY 5 – HONDEKLIPBAY – VAN RHYNSDORP (391 km)
We depart to Van Rhynsdorp on the flower road and visit the Kokerboom (Quiver tree) Nursery.

DAY 6 – VAN RHYNSDORP – UPINGTON (540 km)
We depart to Niewoudtville via Van Rhynspass to Calvinia visit Matjiesfontein private reserve. The Hantam Botanical garden and the Flower reserve.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Depart to Upington. Drop off at the Guest House or Airport.
Accommodation at own cost.
