MALARIA AREA
DAY 1. JOHANNESBURG – ZEERUST 627 KM
Depart from Johannesburg to Zeerust on the N4 through to Rustenburg.
Accommodation: Kareespruit Game Ranch

DAY 2. ZEERUST – GHANZI 680 KM
Depart from Zeerust and cross the border at Ramatlabama to Lobatsi. From there on the Trans-Kalahari road to Ghanzi.

DAY 3. GHANZI – DROTSKYS CABIN 480 KM
Depart from Ghanzi to Drotskys Cabin visit the Ngami Meer, from there we pass the Okavango Delta on the western side, and visit the Bushman Tribe at Thodilo Hills.

DAY 4. DROTSKYS LODGE – ZAMBEZI NATIONAL PARK 301KM
Depart from Drotskys Lodge we cross the border at Sekawe to Namibia. Here we enter the Mahango National Game Reserve do a game drive through the Park. From there we drive through the old Caprivi Strip and is characterised by an abundance of water, wetlands, large floodplains and thick Mopani woodland. The Bwabwata, Mamili, and Muduma National parks are the major conservation areas in the Zambezi Region with over 600 bird species.
Accommodation: Rest camp on the banks of the Kwando River

DAY 5. MUDUMU NATIONAL PARKS 150KM
Visit the Mudumu National park of 1009 square km of Savannah, Mopani woodlands, and marsh on the eastern score of the Kwando River. Animals as the sitatunga, red- letcwe, elephants, buffalo, kudu, impala, roan antelope, hippos and spotted necked otter.

DAY 6. MAMILI NATIONAL PARK 100 KM
Mamili National park 32000 ha is centered on the Nkasa and Lupala Island on the Kwando and Linyanti rivers in the eastern corner of East Caprivi. During dry seasons, the islands can be reached by road, but after rains 80% of the area comes flooded, cutting them of from the mainland.

DAY 7. CAPRIVI REGEAN 260 KM
After breakfast we depart to the Ngoma border between Namibia and Botswana. We enter the 10698 square km Chobe National Park and went to the Chobe river front, one of Botswanas’ top wildlife destinations. And most of the animals are concentrate near the water, elephants, buffalos, roar antelope, sables, letchwe, puku and many bird species.
Accommodation: Chobe river lodge.

DAY 8. KASANE 100 KM
We do early morning game and afternoon drives along the Linyanti River and other game drive roads. Do a sunset boat trip on the Chobe River. (Optional)

DAY 9. CHOBE NATIONAL PARK 130 KM
After breakfast we drive from Kasane through Mopani trees and bushes on a thick sand road to Savuti camp. This camp is situated on the dried banks of the Savuti River. Animals like elephants, buffalos, kudus wildebeest, tsessebe, impala, lions and leopard can be spotted.

DAY 10. CHOBE NATIONAL PARK 62 KM
After breakfast we depart to Savuti camp on a thick sand road and elephants, buffalos, wildebeest, lions and leopard can be spotted.
We visit the waterholes and do afternoon game drives.

DAY 11. CHOBE NATIONAL PARKS TO MOREMI NATIONAL PARK 200KM
We depart to camp in the Moremi National park on a sandy road and cross the Khwai River. This park covered one third of the Okavango Delta and is one of the top wildlife destinations in Africa and is 4871 square km.
Accommodation: Xaxanaxa rest camp.
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
DAY 12. MOREMI NATIONAL PARKS 150KM
Do early morning game drives come back for branch have a short rest and do afternoon game drive.

DAY 13. MOREMI NATIONAL PARKS. 150KM
Go out on a boat trip on the Okavango Delta, have brunch have a short rest and do a game drive in the afternoon.

DAY 14. MOREMI NATIONAL PARK 150KM
We drive from Xaxanaxa rest camp on a sandy road, do a game drive to our next camp.
Accommodation: 3rd Bridge

DAY 15. MOREMI NATIONAL PARK 150KM
Do an early morning game drive have brunch, a short rest and do an afternoon game drive.

DAY 16. MOREMI NATIONAL PARK TO MAUN 170 KM
We depart to South Gate, leave the park for Maun.
We can do laundry and fill up the stock and fuel and take the rest of the day off.
A FLIGHT OVER THE DELTA IS OPTIONAL.
Accommodation: Maun rest camp.

DAY 17. MAUN TO KHAMA RHINO SANCTUARY 540KM
We leave Maun early that morning for the Khama Rhino Sanctuary and situated near Serowe. During the 1980s due to indiscriminate poaching, rhinos were made almost extinct in Botswana. In the 1992 community trust wildlife was established to create a park to safeguard the few remaining rhino and to re- establish both black and white rhino population in the area. The project is successful and under the protection of the Botswana Defence Force and a dedicated team of conservationists. The park is 4300 hectares of Kalahari sandveld. There are also giraffes, red hartebeest, brown hyena, and leopard antelope.

DAY 18. KHAMA RHINO SANCTUARY TO JOHANNESBURG 716KM
Depart to Johannesburg. Drop off at the Guest House/Lodge or Airport
