UPINGTON, NAMAQUALAND, WESTCOAST - 5DAYS
RICHTERS SAFARIS FLOWER TOUR 4.1

DAY 1. UPINGTON - SPRINGBOK 390KM
We depart from the guesthouse at 8:30 via Keimoes, Kakamas to Springbok through the bushmanland. We stop at Tierberg, view over the Orange River, then at the old waterwheel, depart to Kakamas, and visit the Pienk Padstal for dried fruit and interesting remembrances.

DAY 2. SPRINGBOK
After breakfast, we depart through springbok to Okiep, Concordia, and Nababiep to view the Namaqua flowers. Then we depart to Goegab National Reserve and Hester Malan Garden. Goegap is 1500ha and can support close to 600 indigenous flower species. We spend the whole day in the flower park and have lunch at the kiosk (own cost).

DAY 3. SPRINGBOK - CLANWILLIAM 380KM
We depart to Kammieskroon on the N7 and visit Skilpads Nature Reserve. This park is 103000ha and is the showcase of these flowers in season. From there we depart to Clanwilliam.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 4. CLANVILLIAM
We depart to the Biedou valley and Wuppertal in the Cederberge for the peak of the flowers during August and September.

DAY 5. CLANVILLIAM - CAPE TOWN 280KM
Depart from Boegoeberg 4x4 to Lambertsbaai, Elandsbaai, on the West coast road to Saldanabaai and visit the West Coast National Park and also the West Coast Fossil Park at Langebaan. The Highlight for the visitor is the West Coast Fossil Park, it is a LIVE exhibition of an ongoing excavation of the early Pliocene fossil (FOSSILS FROM 5 MILLION YEARS AGO AND ARE THE GREATEST DIVERSITY IN THE WORLD)
We then depart from Langebaan to our final destination in Cape Town, where the tour ends.
